KAWEHNO:KE RECREATION COMMITTEE DONATES TOYS TO COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM
The Community Support Program would like to thank the Kawehno:ke Recreation Committee (and the many generous community members who contributed) for their donation of toys to benefit the children & youth in temporary care!
From December 6-8, the Kawehno:ke Recreation Committee hosted one of their biggest fundraiser events: Spirit of Christmas — throughout this event, a toy, book and pajama drive was held in memory of Alex “The Warrior” Lazore.
Nia:wen to all those who participated in making the toy drive a success — your generosity makes our community stronger and helps to create a magical holiday for our little ones!
