We are informing local residents that there is a known issue that is preventing land line calls between area codes (613) 575-XXXX and (518) 358-XXXX telephone numbers.
Our most immediate concern is ensuring that calls can still be made to our First Responders and Emergency Services.
Bell and Verizon are actively working to resolve the connection. In the meantime, if you need to contact emergency services, please use a mobile device to call the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Services at (613) 575-2000 or Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police at (518) 358-9200.
