HAUDENOSAUNEE TEACHINGS WITH ONENHAKÉN:RA

Join us for an enriching experience with the MCA Land-Based Healing Program, celebrating the role of onenhakén:ra (white corn) in our culture. On Tuesday, September 10, join us for a Corn Husk Dolls Workshop led by Crystal Henry. Choose between two sessions—10 a.m. or 5 p.m.—and create your own beautiful corn husk doll.

Then, experience the art of White Corn Washing on Friday, September 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. with Ionte’s Cornbread. Discover the traditional techniques used to prepare this important staple.

The events will take place at 50 Herne Farm Road.
