MACHINE READABLE STATUS CARD SESSIONS
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to invite the community to learn more from Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) as they introduce a machine readable format on Secure Certificate of Indian Status cards. This has been done to help simplify the border crossing process for First Nations individuals using the status cards as a piece of identification at ports of entry (POE) between Canada and the United States.
Akwesasronon are encouraged to learn more about the machine readable status card at the following sessions:
TUESDAY, APRIL 16
- Lunch & Learn | Kawehno:ke Recreation Center | 11:30 AM – 1 PM
- Intake Session | Kawehno:ke Recreation Center | 5 PM – 7:30 PM
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17
