MCA 2021 GENERAL ELECTION UPDATE: NOMINATIONS & VOTERS LIST REMINDER

The Executive Director has called a General Election to be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

 

Nominations will be held on Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Due to the pandemic, locations are to be announced in the near future.

 

Voters Lists have been posted in the 3 districts of Akwesasne’s northern portion. If your name is not on the Voters List in the district in which you reside, and you will be 18 years old on or before June 26, 2021, please contact Chief Electoral Officer Leona Benedict at 613-575-2250 ext. 2406 or at 613-551-1622. Please note that your name will not be automatically added to the Voters List, individuals must apply.
