MCA CONDUCTING ON-SITE ACTIVE THREAT TRAINING
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is notifying the community that during the week of November 21–23, 2022, “active threat” training will be conducted at MCA facilities in all three districts. As part of this staff training, drills and mock exercises will be conducted to simulate an active shooter situation or other safety threat. Please be aware that these exercises are drills, and no real weapons will be used. However, if you are in the vicinity of these buildings during the drills you may witness or hear unusual activity.

Monday, November 21st – Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
Tuesday, November 22nd – Iakhihsohtha Lodge (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
Wednesday, November 23rd – Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility (12 p.m. – 3 p.m.)
