EXTERNAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

TURKEY DINNER FUNDRAISER

There will be a Turkey Dinner fundraiser on Sunday February 12th from 11:00am until all is sold at the Snye Recreation Center in the Elders Room. Dinners include; turkey, hash, stuffing, mac salad, baked beans, dinner roll w/butter, gravy, dessert and a bottle of water. The cost is $12/dinner and are available for pick-up only. This is a benefit for the Tsiionhkwanonhsote Resident Activity Fund. Please call 613-575-2496 to order.

 

INDIGENOUS VICTIMS SERVICES

There will be Indigenous Victims Services presentations on Wednesday February 22nd from 1pm-3pm and 4pm-6pm at the Kawehnoke Recreation Center. THE NOT-SO-NEWLYWED GAME

Akwesasne TV presents The Not-So-Newlywed Game taking place on Saturday February 11th at 8pm at the Snye Recreation Center. 6 Couples will compete for a grand prize and find out how much they know (or don't know) about their significant other! H.T.I. vs O.HA. JUNIOR WOMEN'S HOCKEY GAME

The Hockey Training Institute 20U Junior Women's team will play in an exhibition game against the Ontario Hockey Academy of Cornwall on Saturday February 11th at 3:00pm at the Anowarako:wa Arena. Bailey Thomas and Amber Thomas, both of Akwesasne attend H.T.I in preparation for College and University. Don't miss this exciting game of fast hockey!

 

AKWESASNE HISTORY FAMILY TRIVIA

The MCA Communications Unit is sponsoring Akwesasne History Family Trivia on Sunday February 12, 2017 from 10am - 1pm at the Tsi Snaihne Recreation Social Hall. Teams of 4 (2 adults, 2 youth under age 18) will be asked to answer trivia questions related to the history of Akwesasne. The Anowarako:wa Arena is pleased to announce that the new Olympia Ice Resurfacer has been purchased, and is expected to arrive and be in operation for the 2017/2018 season.
