NATION TO NATION FOOD SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE

Food connects us. Trade sustains us. Join Onkwe for the 2nd Annual Nation to Nation Food Sustainability Conference & Swap — a gathering focused on strengthening our food systems, sharing knowledge, and connecting with other communities!

When: March 8–9, 2025

Where: Mohawk Nation Longhouse (211 NY-37, Akwesasne, NY)

This weekend will feature hands-on activities, important discussions on food sovereignty, a swap event for trading goods, and a Saturday night social to bring people together. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

At the swap, attendees are encouraged to bring items to trade, such as:

🌱 Seeds
🌽 White corn

🍁 Maple syrup
🍯 Honey

🐟 Fish
🥚 Eggs

🧵 Sashes, beadwork & wampum
…and more!
