REMINDER: ELDER CARE PACKAGE DISTRIBUTION

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to remind the community that the elder care packages will be distributed on Friday, December 18 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Only elders who have registered and received confirmation will be on the pick-up list.

Pick-up locations will be at Kana:takon School, Snye School, A’nowara’ko:wa Arena, & the former First Americans IGA. Please only pick-up at the location that you chose during registration.

Please be mindful that any packages not picked up by 1 p.m. will be given to another elder on our waitlist. The care packages contain food and we want to ensure community members receive them to avoid any spoiling or storage issues.
