REMINDER: U.S. CUSTOMS CONTINUES REDUCED HOURS AT FORT COVINGTON/DUNDEE BORDER CROSSING

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is reminding the community that the U.S. Customs & Border Protection has reduced hours at certain border crossings due to the border closure.  These limited hours have been in place since April of 2020.    

The following border crossings are affected, with reduced hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:   

  • Rouses Point  
  • Overton Corners  
  • Mooers  
  • Trout River  
  • Fort Covington (Dundee)  

 Community members are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly. The Massena/Roosevel-town border crossing remains open 24/7.
