SCHEDULED CONSTRUCTION & DETOURS IN KANA:TAKON

HILLTOP DRIVE & PARK STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT 

 

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Infrastructure, Housing and Environment (DIHE) would like to inform the community that there is upcoming scheduled construction work that will impact traffic routes in Kana:takon. 

 

On Monday, September 12 and Tuesday, September 13, traffic flow will be directed from Hilltop Drive to Park Street and then Sweetgrass Lane.

 

On Wednesday, September 14 and Thursday, September 15, traffic flow will be directed from Park Street onto Sweetgrass Lane.

 

DIHE is asking the community to exercise caution when driving through these detours and construction areas; please be mindful of our traffic controllers, as well as your vehicle’s speed.
