RIVER ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT

The purpose of this meeting is to inform residents and property owners of the proposed scope of work for the River Road Reconstruction Project.

The project includes the reconstruction of a 1.6km long portion of River Road from Wade Lafrance Memorial Road intersection to the Bittern Creek Bridge.

The scope of work includes asphalt removal, excavation of existing granular materials, regrading to suit proposed grades,
ditching, culvert removal / installation, asphalt repaving and the replacement of guiderails.

The reconstruction project has been tendered and awarded to Lazore’s Construction and work is expected to commence within the coming weeks.

Please be advised there will be expected delays, a reduction of the speed limit in the work area, workers traversing across the road, traffic re-routing, noise and dust during road reconstruction.
