TSIIONKWANONHSO:TE ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT OF LORNA FRANCIS

The Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility is announcing the retirement of Lorna Francis. The LTC and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to extend congratulations and appreciation to Lorna for her many years of service to our residents!

 

Lorna has dedicated 16 years of service to the elders residing at Tsiionkwanonhso:te, providing kindness, care, and support. Lorna served as the Finance Clerk for her entire career at Tsiionkwanonhso:te. Lorna has been the go-to person for any staff member who needed assistance with their time for payroll. Residents’ families would consult Lorna during the emotional and stressful time of Admission of their loved ones to the LTC. Lorna really was amazing in her role.

 

“We are really going to miss Lorna,” said Vincent “Barry” Lazore, Administrator of Tsiionkwanonhso:te. “It is a great comfort knowing that Lorna is going to enjoy her retirement, healthy and happy, and we hope that she realizes what a great asset she has been to the staff and residents of Tsiionkwanonhso:te. We will miss her dearly!”
