WINTER ROYALTY CROWNED AT IAKHIHSOHTHA
Iakhihsohtha Lodge was filled with excitement today as residents, families, and staff came together to celebrate the Akwesasne Winter Carnival! The day began with a chili and bread cook-off, where judges had the tough job of selecting the best homemade creations. After much deliberation, the winners were announced:

Following the announcement, everyone gathered for a delicious spaghetti lunch before the highlight of the day — the crowning of Iakhihsohtha’s Winter Carnival King & Queen! A big congratulations to Jack Leaf & Esther Mitchell, who were honored with the titles. 👑
The celebration continued with live music from Crosswinds, bringing joy and laughter to all in attendance. Nia:wen to everyone who joined us for this special event!
