Apply Now – Akwesasne Heating Assistance & Meat Box Programs
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Community Support Program (CSP) is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Akwesasne Heating Assistance Program (AHAP) and the Meat Box Program.
Together, these programs provide practical support to community members and families during the colder months and help make essential household expenses more manageable.
Akwesasró:non can register for both programs at the same time, but please note the different deadlines. Meat Box Program applications are due by Friday, October 30, 2026, while AHAP applications are due by Friday, December 11, 2026. MCA General Meeting
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s General Meeting will take place on Kenténha/October 29, 2026, at the Tsi Snaihne Recreation Center, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The MCA General Meeting will be a hybrid event (in-person and virtual). To receive the Zoom meeting link, please email meetings@akwesasne.ca. Questions and comments can also be sent to this email prior to the General Meeting for Council to address.
All community members are encouraged to attend, participate, and stay informed. Available meeting agendas can be viewed on the MCA Community Portal at my.akwesasne.ca.
